How do I change the monthly target to something different than 50000?

If your monthly writing target is different than the 50000, go to the Writing Log Statistics tab in the spreadsheet.

Click on the cell A6 in the upper right corner with the red border and then change the number from 50000 to what your individual goal is. All the daily targets will adjust accordingly.

Should you need to, this target can be changed at any point throughout the month.
